The Springwood Slasher – when Freddy was a real-life child murderer.
He enjoys killing the young – and does so creatively (such as dreams allow). He likes to employ his “finger knives” for the kill, but because he appears in your dreams, his methods can be as fantastic as your dreams….or nightmares.
Freddy Krueger is a burnt-to-a-crisp, clever, creative, cheeky killer. He is the class clown of killers. Well, the evil class clown.
A metal finger-knifed glove. However, his only limit is his imagination and fantasy, having the power of dreams as his ultimate weapon - he has cooked up all sorts of fantastically inventive ways to kill such as deceptively morphing into other people to lure in his victims.
Killing teenagers on Halloween night - but any warm body, regardless of age will do.
Like a fart, he is the silent, but deadly kind of killer. He has a strong, resiliency and is not one to give up easily. Best summed up: Stoic and steady.
Jason. In the first installment, Friday the 13th, he was just a memory to his murderous momma. He was referred to as the “boy.” When he “spoke” he demanded, “kill her mommy.”
The big brute enjoys killing camp counselors. Perhaps he just can’t get past his grudge against those who had let him drown and killed his momma.
Like Michael Myers, he is the silent but deadly type of killer. However, Jason is a bit more Neanderthal-like. Not as smooth as Michael Myers or Freddy Krueger. But Jason is intense and thorough with his work.
Anything and everything. But does seem to prefer the machete.
The most iconic member of the cannibalistic Sawyer clan (Hewitt clan in the remake) Leatherface is best known for maniacally wielding a chainsaw and wearing a mask made out of human skin and a butcher's apron.
Leatherface is a tall, fat male who wears dirty, greasy workman’s clothes and a mask made of human skin turned inside-out. He’s got really nasty yellow teeth. He switches between masks, depending upon the role he is expected to play. Leatherface is an angry gimp. He has the mind of a 5 year-old in the body of a 45 year-old. He is deathly afraid of the father figure of whatever movie he’s in (cowering in corner, away from blows), but has a great time chopping up teenagers (he isn’t intimidated at all). Other than that, he’s got no personality to speak of.
Pennywise takes a page out of Freddy Krueger’s book and is able to transform into anything his prey fears. This makes for some creepy supernatural scenes and provides the feeling of multiple dimensions. What makes the movie more unsettling is the carnival music heard while Pennywise does his villainous actions. It truly makes the experience of watching IT uncomfortable.
Basically he’s just pure evil, really, and he can also metamorphose into various other forms—mostly into the image feared most by whoever he’s appearing to. Or he can also seductively become other people. At one point he turns into somebody’s dead father, at another point he turns into the girl that the hero’s in love with.
Your easily manipulated and influenced imagination.
A sadistic serial killer who is beyond sociopathic, he puts his victims through elaborate, and generally lethal tests in the form of mechanical devices and or other forms of traps, in which they themselves must make life-altering choices (often involving self-mutilation) in order to survive. Jigsaw believes that he has never killed anyone in his life and that the choices that his victims make are there own, that in most cases they just simply choose death for it is the easiest solution. He's a person with extreme beliefs and he truely thinks he's making a difference in a diseased world full of tyranny at the hands of evil men .
Kramer is a former civil engineer dying from an inoperable frontal lobe tumor that had developed from colon cancer. After a failed suicide attempt, Kramer found a new appreciation for his life, and decided to dedicate the rest of his life to inspiring the same appreciation in others by testing their will to live.
Ghostface is the main killer in all Scream movies. His famous line "What's your favorite scary movie?" is iconic to this notorious killer. He stalks Sydney Prescott and her gang of friends. Usually out of hate and revenge, the killer with a changing identity usually blames the victims, especially Sydney, for some tragedy. Sydney's mom, Ms. Prescott had cheated with Billy's Dad, Mr. Loomis which caused the whole background for this awesome series.
Hyper-steeped in horror-movie lore, he appropriates clichés and, in the bloody process, reinvents them. But let’s not get too academic here. Ghostface has got swag. He’s funny as hell, and when you least expect it, when you’re still laughing from your gut, he stabs you in it.
He uses his iconic knife and stabs people but also uses his surrounding to his advantage and his deep knowledge of the horror genre, irony
Chucky – a “Good Guy” doll was the closest thing for killer Charles Lee Ray to transfer his evil soul into before he died in a police shoot-out. But Charles Lee Ray doesn’t want to be a lame doll forever.
Therefore, his mission is to find the first human to reveal his true identity to, so he can get his soul the hell out of a doll's body and back into that of a human. Revealing himself to the first human he can find, six-year old Andy Barclay, Chucky relentlessly pursues Andy so he can inhabit his human body. Of course, Chucky still enjoys his other favorite pastime: murdering innocent people along the way.
Chucky is a cheeky, mean-spirited little doll-man. Like Freddy Krueger, Chucky is quick witted and has a sense of humor, though thoroughly evil. To put it this way, if Chucky was doing stand-up in a comedy club, you wouldn’t want to throw a tomato at him. Chucky also has quite the potty mouth – uses the f-word frequently and creatively.
Whatever strikes Chucky’s sick and twisted imagination, he will use. Mainly knives, though an axe will do as well (right). Chucky’s other weapon is his “family.”His lady-love, Tiffanyjoins Chucky in murder sprees in Bride of Chuckyand Seed of Chucky.
Once a respected psychiatrist, he's killed at least seven people — and eaten them, hence his nickname, Hannibal the Cannibal. Adding to his dark veneer: his home in a dungeonlike cell with no windows, in the basement of a mental institution. He is brilliant psychiatrist who is also a violent psychopath, serving life behind bars for various acts of murder and cannibalism.
A malevolent but somehow likable presence--likable because he likes Clarice, and helps her. Dr. Lecter is a brilliant forensic psychiatrist. He is also a serial killer and a cannibal, preparing the meat of his victims into tasty dishes for himself and serving them to unsuspecting guests. Although he is a killer, Lecter is still a very refined gentleman. He is meticulous in appearance, speaks very precisely, has an impeccable wit, astonishing intellect, and a gourmet palate.
T In the first Hellraiser, he is only known as the Lead Cenobite. In the sequels, besides Pinhead, he is also known as: The Angel of Suffering, The Dark Prince of Pain, and Elliott Spenser – his human name.
Originally, Pinhead does not purposely seek out to kill or hurt people. He has to besummoned by someone who solves the puzzle box, orLament Configuration. Once the foolish puzzle solver/hedonist summons Pinhead and the rest of the Cenobites – the sadomasochist that he is – Pinhead enjoys the slow torture of his victims. He tortures with the intention to inflict both pain and pleasure because as any good sadomasochist will tell you, pain is the source of pleasure.
Pinhead is kind of a cocky, confident, arrogant, holier-than-thou killer. He thinks quickly on his feet, and can return a witty or eloquent remark with ease. Sometimes fair and reasonable – he will let someone off the hook (no pun intended) if deemed appropriate. Pinhead has an obvious obsession with pain.
All sorts of fun torture devices like hooks and chains to rip flesh apart. He will sometimes enlist other Cenobites to do the kill for him.
